Terms and Conditions

Simply Clean Maid Service "Terms and Conditions" is provided as a guide of what is expected of our clients.

Payments and Refunds

For first-time or one-time cleanings:  For first-time or one-time clients, a minimum of a $50 non-refundable deposit is to be made in order to hold the appointment.  The remaining balance is to be paid when service is complete.

Regular clients:  Payment for cleaning services is due in full/upfront at time of service unless other arrangements have been made.  Simply Clean currently accepts Zelle, Venmo, Paypal, CashApp, Cash, or Check.  If you will be paying by cash of check on a regular basis, and no one is going to be home at time of service, payment must be left on the counter.   If you are using an online payment source, it also needs to be made upon our arrival to your home.  If we arrive to clean, and no payment has been made, we will contact to immediately to make arrangements.

We go above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisified with your cleaning service.  If for any reason you are dissatisfied, please contact our office within 24 hours and we will return to re-clean the area/s you are dissatisfied with at no extra charge.

Skipped Cleanings and Cancellations

As a general recurring cleaning client, a part of what you pay for is a consistent spot on our schedule.  Having a consistent spot insures that you are receiving a discounted rate.  Any gaps in regular service may increase your rate if extra time is needed in order to bring your home back to maintenance level.  If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible so that we may fill that space in the schedule.


Should you decide that you would like us to clean items within curio cabinets or items of monetary/sentimental value, the following Release of Liability shall be in effect.

"Client hereby releases Simply Clean Maid Service from all liability arising out of cleaning these items.  Client understands that he/she is completely responsible for repairing or replacing any damaged items even if Simply Clean may have caused the need for repair or replacement."

Service Limitations

We do not allow our staff to climb higher than a 3-step ladder.  We also do not allow our staff to move furniture over 15 lbs but will try to reach those areas with an extension duster.

We are a very responsible cleaning company and take every precaution to not break or damage anything while we are cleaning. However, at times, accidents can happen.  For this reason, we carry General Liability Coverage.  Identical replacement is always attempted, but not guaranteed.  We request hat all irreplaceable items be stored and not cleaned by our staff  The office must be notified within 24 hours of service if client should find that something is damaged.  Simply Clean will not be held responsible for damage to items due to improper installation.  


Although our staff is pet-friendly, due to liability issues, our employees cannot assume liability for your pets when we are in the home.  If you have a dog, it is preferred that the dog either be kept in a crate or in a part of the house that we are not expected to clean during the appointment.  i.e. Our staff cannot be responsible for letting your pet outside while we are there. 

Hazardous Material

Our staff is not allowed to handle or dispose of any hazardous material, such as human or pet waste.  If such items are found in the home at time of cleaning, we will not be able to clean that area.

Prior to your cleaning appointment

Each clients' price quote is determined by the condition of the home when the price estimate is made.  Simple Clean does provide light straightening of the home, but if the home starts to take more time to clean than initially estimated, the price will have to be adjusted. Therefore it is to the clients' advantage to have the home picked up as much as possible before our arrival.

Entry to Homes

Simply Clean has three different options to choose from so that your cleaners have entry into the home:

1. Client may opt to be home at time of our arrival. We will give you a one-hour window of estimated time of arrival the morning of your appointment.

2. Client may provide the company with a garage or door access code to enter the home.

3. Client may leave a key in a secure place outside the home.  Client releases the  company from any damage to the home after we have left or before we arrive to clean.

Alarm Systems

It is not necessary for the client to disarm their security alarm system on the day of their cleaning appointment.  If you would like, you may contact your alarm company and have a house cleaner code issued.  That way our staff can set the alarm when we leave so that your home is secure.

Price Increases

Simply Clean reserves the right to adjust clients' rate at any time.  We are happy to make suggestions regarding the services in order to keep your cost down.
